Cleopatra, Queen OF EGYPT - Tina Turner as Cleopatra
Prep skin with moisturizer, blot excess with tissue.
Apply concealer to any red spots or discoloration and blend well with a sponge.
Smooth on a small amount of gold sparkle liquid foundation and blend outward from center of face.
Using a basic black eyebrow pencil or liquid eyeliner, draw in defined arched brow. (Note: for this look, it is not necessary to draw in individual brow hairs—a solid filled-in shape is more true to the original Cleopatra look.)
For the Cleopatra eye: First, rim the inner lashline, top and bottom, with a smooth-tipped basic black eye pencil. Be sure to get into the lashes.
Then, taking the same black eye pencil, lightly sketch in the basic shape outline, which is drawn from the inside corner of the eye, above the crease, and extended outward, past the end of the brow. (Note: that the inside corner is also extended downward.)
Fill in the outline with basic black powder eyeshadow or, if you feel confident, black liquid eyeliner. Be sure to cover over the entire eyelid, crease and above, and directly under the bottom lashline. (Note: this is a very defined shape with edges that are not blended or softened.)
Finally, sweep heavy coats of black mascara on top and bottom lashes (which should be curled, though that is not absolutely necessary).
Taking a small shadow brush, apply golden honey powder eyeshadow to highlight the exposed browbone.
With a medium blush brush, stroke golden brown contour powder along the hollows of the cheeks and temples.
With a large blush brush, dust on apricot powder blush to the apples of the cheeks, temples, and chin.
